As a principal, Andy is integral to the day-to-day operations of the firm including staffing, marketing, and strategic planning. He also actively manages challenging, complex projects—applying his technical knowledge and unique design perspective to each new project.
Andy joined Blumentals/Architecture in 2000 and was named a principal and Vice President in 2007. Prior to working at B/A, he was with Professional Design Group in Northfield, MN for 6 years working on a wide range of project types, from food/industrial production facilities, retreat centers, to church additions.
Andy graduated from The Colorado College in 1990 with a BA degree as an art major with studio emphasis. After spending a year in Los Angeles as a contractor, he attended the University of Colorado and graduated in 1993 with a Masters of Architecture.
